Our calendar provides information on annual ESNE events, other regional events, and other events around the world. If you know of an event that we should list, please contact:

Annual Events

There are three major events in the calendar for the Esperanto Society of New England: The spring Jarkunveno, the fall ARE reception and the winter Zamenhof Vespero. Two are hosted by local chapters -- if your chapter would like to host one of these events, please send a one or two paragarph proposal at least 6 months in advance.

Jarkunveno: Saturday, March 8, 2008

New England Esperanto speakers are especially encouraged to come to the Jarkunveno of the Esperanto Society of New England, on March 8, 2008, at the Gardner Ale House at Noon.

You do not need to be a member and there is no fee to attend the meeting, but you're encourged to bring some food and beverages to share.

ARE Reception: TBA for 2008

ESNE offers a reception for participants at the Auxtuna Renkontigxo Esperantista (ARE) after the Amika Vespero (21:00). Refreshments and snacks will be offered to ESNE members and friends of ESNE.

Zamenhof Vespero: Dec 13, 2008 in Amherst, MA

Je la kunveno de Amherst ĉivespere, ni decidis okazigi Zamenhofan Feston je la posttagmezo de sabato, la 13a de decembro, 2008 -- tio estas la lego-tago ĉe UMass Ni pensis ke oni kunportu manĝaĵojn por dividi kaj poste ni spektos la filmon Gerda Malaperis. Loko estos anoncita poste.

At the Amherst meeting this evening, we decided to have a Zamenhof Fest on the afternoon of Saturday, December 13th, 2008 -- that's Reading Day at UMass. We thought we could have a potluck luncheon followed by a screening of the Gerda Malaperis movie. Location TBA.
